Live the Life God Intended For You - Oprah Winfrey

I've gone through many dark nights of the soul. And during those days, I could barely get out of bed. I didn't know what else I could do but to try to keep a positive mind.

The easiest and free therapy I gifted myself was to lie in bed and binge watched most of Oprah's inspirational videos and others which I've and will share on this blog.

In her speech, she talked about intention. The intention always comes back to you.

And that got me thinking about what my intention was for this blog/website? I for sure didn't want it to just exist because it was the right thing to do for the brand.

I thought about it and remember this quote that crossed my path today.

"Be the role model you wished you had when you were younger."

And that got me really excited because The Woman of Influence is already on Facebook and Instagram so it doesn't make sense to repeat information here.

So I want this space to be your go to place to get the inspiration and motivation you need and get back on your feet and live the life God intended for you.

Life is not a bed of roses and it's not meant to be without challenges. I believe the greater greater the challenger the bigger the reward.

Therefore I hope by creating this one stop space that's highly curated with inspirational content will help you over any challenges and obstacles that you may be going through.

In the video, you'll hear how Oprah learned the benefits of surrendering and then got the main role in The Color Purple.

Remember that we're all God's children. He wants us to have His kingdom more than we want it ourselves.

And if you learn to ask the right questions and listen, He'll always answer.

I watch this clip a few times a year just to get my mojo vibrating high again.
